The Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) Energy, is responsible for establishing a Utility Energy Services Contract (UESC) in support of the United States Coast Guard (USCG) at Base Kodiak on Kodiak, Alaska. Under solicitation SP0604-24-R-0423, Kodiak Electric Association, Inc. (KEA), the local utility, has been engaged to support USCG energy conservation and resilience objectives.
A Firm-Fixed Price (FFP) contract has been awarded to KEA for the development and submission of an Investment Grade Audit (IGA), which will provide a comprehensive assessment of Base Kodiak's energy consumption and identify potential cost savings and efficiency improvements.
