County of St. Paul - RFP - Supply and Delivery of Fuel

The County of St. Paul is seeking tenders for the supply and delivery of fuel products (the “Goods”) for a period of twenty-four (24) months commencing on January 1, 2025 and expiring on December 31, 2026. Tenderers must meet the minimum specifications for type of fuel and volumes. The service provided shall include and demonstrate the capacity to undertake the safe delivery of diesel and gasoline fuel to the locations on a scheduled basis to ensure that the County receives the necessary fuels to carry on its operations.
1.2        Tenderers shall guarantee, in writing, the availability of fuels in such a manner to ensure that the operations of the County are not impaired in anyway.
1.3        Tenderers shall supply the cost of fuels at the price subject to industry weekly increases or decreases and tax adjustments at the time of purchase. The supplier shall provide this cost taking into consideration any rebates or patronage refund that may apply to the fuel products.
1.4        Deliveries will be provided at the following locations:

(a)        Main Location - County of St. Paul Public Works Shop, 5618 – 57th Street, St. Paul, AB
Clear Gas – 15,000 litre tank
Clear Diesel – 25,000 litre tank
Dyed Diesel – 10,000 litre tank

(b)        The County will also require periodic deliveries of Dyed Diesel to a minimum of eight (8) locations on request with a single portable storage tank of 2000 – 2200 litres, at each location. Locations may vary and tanks will require filling approximately every two weeks.

(c)         The County will also require delivery of Dyed Diesel on request for a single portable 5500 litre tank which is utilized for the crusher, therefore the location of the delivery will vary. This will be a seasonal delivery from March to December.

(d)        The County also has two single axle fuel delivery trucks that carry 10,000 litres of Dyed Diesel only. These trucks are located on job sites throughout the County between May and October/November. These trucks are required to be filled on a weekly basis.
