RFP 23-306 - Temporary Healthcare Staffing

OMH is seeking proposals from qualified vendors to provide temporary healthcare staffing solutions to ensure that all vacant positions are filled with qualified staff who can provide high-quality mental health care services. A temporary healthcare staffing recruiting firm can help OMH fill these vacancies quickly and efficiently, while also ensuring that all staff meet the necessary qualifications and training requirements.

The selected healthcare staffing firm(s) will provide temporary staffing solutions for OMH to fill vacant positions for the following healthcare roles: Registered Nurses (RNs), Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs), Nurse Practitioners (NPs), Mental Health Therapy Aides (MHTAs), Secure Care Treatment Aides (SCTAs), Rec/Rehab Counselors, Pharmacists, Dentists, Dental Assistants, LMSWs, and LCSWs. The staffing firm will work closely with OMH to ensure that all staffing needs are met and that all staff provided have the necessary qualifications and experience.

OMH will be awarding up five (5) contracts to the proposals demonstrating the best value among those proposals determined to be responsive based on the review and evaluation of their content and completeness that best meets the requirements of this RFP and OMH. “Best Value” is defined that that proposal that meets the mandatory requirements and received the highest overall combined score based on the Technical Evaluation score and the Financial Evaluation score.

There will be an opportunity available for submission of written questions and requests for clarification with regard to this RFP. All questions and requests for clarification of this RFP should cite the particular RFP Section and paragraph number where applicable and must be submitted via email to bids@omh.ny.gov by November 8, 2024 at 3:00 P.M. ET.
