REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS (RFP)
JUNETEENTH FESTIVAL
The City of Camilla is accepting proposals from qualified vendors/contractors to provide and
host a city-sponsored Juneteenth event. The proposal shall be inclusive of planning,
coordinating, and marketing of the City of Camilla Juneteenth Celebration, which will be held on
Saturday, June 20, 2026. Factors to be considered in proposal include vendor participation,
exhibitors, Juneteenth parade, live entertainment, guest speakers, community partnerships, and
opportunities for community engagement. The total operating budget for the event is $20,000.
The festival shall be held in the downtown district. As needed, the City of Camilla will provide a
city-owned venue to facilitate on-site activities. Logistical support will be provided by the City
as coordinated through the vendor/contractor.
Proposals shall be submitted to: City Manager, City of Camilla, P.O. Box 328, Camilla, Georgia
31730. Deadline to submit a proposal is March 31, 2026 at 5:00 PM. Direct questions or
