Proofread and edit reserved and oral Court of Appeal Reasons for Judgment prior to release and publication. Work with individual justices of the Court of Appeal with respect to their preferred drafting styles, particularly with multi-authored documents and confidentiality issues that arise in the judgment drafting process. Work with judicial staff and judicial law clerks about preferred grammatical and formatting styles. Ensure that standard forms of citation are used in judgment drafting, based on the British Columbia Superior Courts Judgment Style Guide. Ensure compliance with the Superior Courts Publication Ban Manual in all Reasons for Judgment. Provide input with respect to the currency, accuracy and updates of the British Columbia Superior Courts Judgment Style Guide. Manage work flow for timely release of judgments in the Court of Appeal. Provide a list of ‘notable decisions’ for posting on the Court of Appeal’s Twitter account. Prepare summaries of all Court of Appeal factums
