Project Description: Issuing Procurement Unit: State of Utah Division of Purchasing

The purpose of this Request for Quotes (RFQ) is to enter into a contract or purchase order with the responsive and responsible vendor that submits the lowest cost to provide: services in this contract to provide for the construction of a four-strand barbwire fence. The Kimball Creek fence project is partially completed and we are seeking work to finish the project. There is still 2,356 ft of fence that needs to be built, that has the cedar posts already installed. There is another 667 ft that has no work done. Total fence to be constructed is approximately 3,023 ft. The contract will be to complete these sections and tie them to the existing fence.
The government will provide all of the fencing materials delivered to one of the starting points of the fence just off of the road. The contractor will need to move materials from there.
This project task order includes the Contractor to furnish all labor, equipment, supervision, transportation, operating supplies and incidentals
Mandatory Site Visit: A site visit will NOT be held prior to bidding. It is strongly recommended that each potential bidder inspect the site where services are to be performed and satisfy themselves regarding all general and local conditions that may affect the cost of contract performance, to the extent that the information is reasonably obtainable. In no event shall failure to inspect the site constitute grounds for a claim after contract award.
Budget for Project is $7,100.00.
Length of Contract: Must be completed by June 15, 2026
Vendor must guarantee pricing for the duration of the contract.
Evaluation of Quotes: Each quote received shall be evaluated for responsiveness in as outlined in the Utah Procurement Code. This RFQ shall be evaluated by the objective criteria described in this RFQ. Quotes submitted must comply with the specification identified in this RFQ. Multiple or alternate quotes will not be accepted. If a vendor submits multiple or alternate quotes, the State will only accept the bidder's primary bid and will not accept any other bids constituting multiple or alternate bids. Any exceptions to the content of this RFQ, including the specifications, must be protested in writing to the Division of Purchasing prior to the closing date.
