SAND STORAGE BUILDING DESIGN/BUILD. The City of Soldotna hereby invites qualified firms to provide proposals for design and construction of a pre-engineered fabric structure for sand storage.

The City is seeking a fabric structure with galvanized steel framework that is approximately 85’ wide by 100’ long and mounted on a concrete stem wall to store 4,500 cubic yards of sand. The building should be designed to withstand local snow and wind loads and meet all applicable building codes.

A pre-proposal conference will be held at City Hall, 177 North Birch Street, Soldotna AK on Tuesday, March 3, 2026 at 10:00 A.M. with a site visit to follow. Attendance is not mandatory but is strongly recommended.
