Sources Sought : Global Market Pricing Data Subscription

The U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) is issuing this notice to seek sources for subscription to global market pricing data. The data subscription shall cover a broad range of securities, including global equities, fixed income, and certain categories of futures and options. The SEC is seeking information from sources that currently have a Commercial Off The Shelf (COTS) subscription that meets all requirements in Attachment 1 – Draft Requirements List. The SEC is not seeking a subscription product that requires development.

Each respondent to this Sources Sought notice shall provide the following:

1. Summary/cover letter (limited to 3 pages) with the following company information: business name and address, SAM Unique Entity Identifier (UEI) number, name of company representative and their business title, business size and any whether company has any current socio-economic classifications, listing of any available contract vehicles that are available for government to purchase the subscription (e.g. GSA).

2. Completed Attachment 2 – Requirements Checklist Matrix. Your company must complete this attachment to indicate whether your company meets each data requirement and any of the preferred specifications.

3. A description of your company’s delivery mechanism to demonstrate it meets all of the SEC’s data requirements and formatting requirements for easy ingestion of the required data (limit 5 pages). Merely restating the requirements is not sufficient.

4. Sample files to demonstrate that your company’s solution meets the data requirements listed in the Requirements document. We request the following four sample files:

• A file which contains Exchange Rates (London mid-rate) for USD and each of the following currencies, over the date range 10/11/2024—10/21/2024 inclusive (non-trading days may be omitted): EUR, JPY, CAD, GBP


• Please provide the list of all US equities for which you have coverage as of 03/10/2025.

5. Price estimate – the SEC requests a price estimate for enterprise subscription of the data requirements listed in Attachment 1 for a Base Year and four Option Years. Additionally, the price estimate shall indicate if there are any additional costs for the preferred specifications (if available). The price estimate shall be inclusive of all pricing and licensing fees.
