PRE-SOLICITATION NOTICE: The U.S. Embassy in Algiers intends to issue a solicitation for official outgoing express mail & packages delivery contract on or around January 12, 2025. The solicitation will close on or around January 26, 2025.
A conference is tentatively scheduled for January 19, 2025. Time and meeting location to be provided with the issuance of the solicitation.
The purpose of the official outgoing express mail & packages delivery contract is to have a company that can provide the following services but not only:
- Express mail transportation to any worldwide destination.
- Offer two different account numbers (outbound and inbound shipments).
- Door-to-door service for express mail.
- Provide packing materials.
- Offer online account management or software.
- Provide secure storage for diplomatic shipments in transit.
The Primary North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code anticipated for solicitation is 492110.
Registrations: In order to be considered for a contract an offeror must be registered and active in the System for Award Management (SAM), http://www.sam.gov.
