The Minnesota Medicare data including Master Beneficiary Summary Files are used by MDH to ensure a complete and accurate representation of health care utilization, costs, and outcomes across all payer types, including Medicare.

This renewal has been deemed a single source as the Center for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) is the exclusive owners of the specific data sets needed. These services are not available through 3rd party resellers.
