Bidders are strongly encouraged to submit their bids electronically through use of Cit-E-Bid or in person - hand delivery. Mailed Proposals (i.e. USPS, FedEx, UPS), telegraphic, emails or facsimile proposals will not be considered.
Bids can be hand delivered to City Secretary Office, 1110 Houston St., 3rd. Floor, Laredo, Texas 78040 or submitted through Cit-E-Bid system until 5:00 P.M. on September 4, 2026 and all submitted bids received will be opened and publicly acknowledged at 11:00 A.M. on September 8, 2026.
The City of Laredo has established a local vendor preference ordinance 2018-O-175. All informal and formal Requests for bids for contracts will be evaluated with a 5% preference for local vendors.
