I. CLARIFICATIONS
1. Doors 156 X/Y call out Bi-Fold Doors, but there is no room 156 on the floor
plan.
Response: Doors 156X/Y belong to Closet 156 which is in the small area next to
Judge 172.
2. Door 150 X is called out as "D22", is this supposed to be "D2"? If so, is the
hardware correct for this door?
Response: Door 150X should be a Type D3 as shown on the original drawing
set. Hardware is correct.
3. I only see (1) bullet proof window being removed, are we to use this as the
transaction window or is the City going to provide transaction windows? I do
not see a detail for the transaction windows we are to reuse.
Response: The demo drawing on D-1.1 incorrectly shows one window. There are
two bullet resistant windows at the current Courts location. Both are to be relocated
to the wall facing into Lobby 150. Sheet A-3.1 provides interior elevations depicting
the transaction counter on the office side of the windows which will need to be
procured by the contractor. Please note that lead times for ordering and receiving
bullet resistant windows can exceed 3 to 6 months. Please note: Any reference to
bullet proof in the bid should be replaced with bullet resistant.
4. Clarify whether the LVT flooring is tile or plank.
Response: LVT flooring shall be plank material. Any reference to LVT as "tile" shall
be understood to mean LVT plank.
5. Clarify whether porcelain tile is included in the project.
Response: Porcelain tile is not included in the project. Any reference to porcelain
tile in Addendum No. 1 is hereby deleted.
