5785 2025 Sidewalk & Curb Improvements (CDBG)

Funding for this project is from the Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) awarded to the City off New

Rochelle, an entitlement community, by the United States Department of Housing & Urban Development.

Prevailing wages established under the Davis-Bacon Act will apply to this contract. The contract documents will

contain requirements addressing prevailing labor wage rates; labor standards; nondiscrimination in hiring

practices; goals for minority and female participation; MBE and WBE participation; participation by Section 3

residents and businesses; Build America, Buy America (BABAA) terms; and related matters as specified in the

attached CDBG Exhibit. Pages marked must be returned with bid.

Each bid must be accompanied by a DEPOSIT in the form certified check, cashier's check or money order, made

payable to the CITY OF NEW ROCHELLE, NEW YORK, in the amount of five percent (5%) of the bid price (CASH

WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED). The City reserves the right to reject any or all bids. BID BONDS WILL NOT BE

ACCEPTED
