City of Bradenton 2026 Community Parks Master Plan

The City of Bradenton, a political subdivision of the State of Florida, will receive d proposals on the date indicated in Opengov for the purpose of selecting a qualified Consultant to provide professional master planning services for nine (9) City parks or recreation areas. The master plan will ultimately be used by the City as a roadmap for maintenance needs and costs; landscape maintenance and improvements; equipment, hardscape, and facilities planning; capital improvement recommendations; and funding opportunities for a 10-year planning horizon. The Consultants are required to comply with the Scope of Services.

Many of the parks listed are considered passive parks, with little or no playground equipment or other amenities. Several have athletic facilities, docks, or other amenities. The City plans to improve landscape, maintenance, and facilities at these community parks over the next 10 year. The master plan is intended to quantify costs associated with the on-going maintenance and improvements, provide recommendations on a schedule for implementation, assist with public outreach, and provide a final report including findings and recommendations.
