Figma and FigJam

The Department of Minnesota IT Services (MNIT), partnering with the Department of Human Services intend to enter a 12 month agreement with Figma/FigJam used by the experience teams for research and design of software, websites, and customer experiences and is an essential tool for staff engaged in customer research, prototyping, usability testing, and product development in addition to the work of creating and managing the DHS’ design system for integrated service delivery, including portal designs, style guidance and interaction patterns for Salesforce screens.

We understand Figma retains exclusive ownership, copy rights, trademark of their proprietary software and the State believes this software is not available through third party resellers. For this reason, this renewal has been deemed a sole source and must be renewed direct.
