    NOTICE TO BIDDERS
    NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the City of Paterson New Jersey shall receive sealed bids at the
    Purchasing Agent office, located at, City Hall, 155 Market Street, 4th Floor, Paterson, New Jersey 07505
    until 11:00 A.M. prevailing time on display in the Purchasing Office, on WEDNESDAY, MAY 6, 2026
    and then publicly opened, and read aloud in the Purchasing Agent Conference Room for the Following:
    RESURFACING AND IMPROVEMENTS OF CHURCH ST., CLINTON ST., AND WESTSIDE
    PARK SIDEWALK, BID NO. 26.18
    TAKE NOTICE that pursuant to P.L. 2025, c.72, notice is hereby given that beginning January 1, 2026,
    the complete text of each legal notice required to be published by the City of Paterson including the City
    Council meetings, Boards, Commissions and the like may be obtained or viewed by the public on our
    official Internet Website: www.patersonnj.gov. For Bidding Opportunities, visit
    www.patersonnj.gov/purchasing.
    Specifications and other bid information may be obtained at the Division of Purchasing, City Hall, 4th fl.
    155 Market Street, Paterson, NJ 07505 Tel: 973-321-1340 during Business hours 8:30 am to 4:30 pm
    Monday through Friday, excluding Holidays.
    A Non Refundable fee of $50.00 in a form of Company Check, Certified Check or Money Order is
    required for this bid payable to the City of Paterson.
    The City of Paterson requires that a bidder must submit with his bid, a bid guarantee in the form of a bid
    bond, certified check, or cashier’s check in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the bid, along with consent
    of surety from a Bonding Company. In no case shall the bid guarantee exceed $20,000.00.
    Bidders must comply with regulations of the “New Jersey Local Public Contract Law” (N.J.S.A.40A: 11-
    1et.seq.), Affirmative Action regulations N.J.S.A.10:5-31et seq., N.J.A.C. 17:27, the New Jersey Prevailing
    Wage Act 12:60-1 et seq. (N.J.S.A.34:11-56-1 et. seq., N.J.S.A.34:11-56.25 et. seq.), New Jersey
    Contractor Business Registration Certificate N.J.S.A.52.32-44 and the Public Works Contractor
    Registration Act N.J.S.A.34:11-56.48 et. seq.
