Sources Sought

This is a Sources Sought only. As part of its Market Research, NCO 21 is issuing this RFI to determine if there exists an adequate number of qualified interested contractors capable of providing services as further described in the drafted statement of work. The Government may use the responses to this RFI for information and planning purposes. The drafted statement of work (SOW) describes only the currently contemplated possible scope of work and may vary from the work scope in a final SOW included in any Request for Quote (RFQ). The contractor will be providing medical equipment and service for the VA Palo Alto Medical Center, 3801 Miranda Ave, Palo Alto, CA 94304.

There is no solicitation document as this time. The NAICS is 423450 Medical, Dental, and Hospital Equipment and Supplies Merchant Wholesaler, with Small Business size of 200 employees. NOTE: Please ensure that System For Award Management (SAM) (www.sam.gov) indicates this NAICS code if you are interested in the requirement.

As this is a service acquisition, the Small Business Administration and the Federal Acquisition Regulation have a Limitations on Subcontracting requirement. I. Background
The Case Medical containers are used for with all sterilization modalities-pre-vacuum and gravity steam (including IUSS), hydrogen peroxide, hydrogen peroxide. Ozone, and ethylene oxide- and compatible with all instruments types, including flexible endoscopes.

III. Rigid Containers for Low Temp RMD

The rigid containers for low Temp RMD will be delivered to 3801 Miranda Ave Palo Alto, CA. 94304, to SPS in the basement to building 100 room EB360, for processing and immediate use.

IV. Warranty

Case Medical, Inc. at its sole option and without charge will either repair or replace any product determined to be defective in material or workmanship when used for its intended purpose. Lid gasket and filter ring gaskets are under warranty for three full years from the date of purchase.

IV. Performance

Case Medical s Universal system is a rigid, reusable sealed sterilization container system ideal for standardization. Using one container for all processes results in a streamlined process and cost savings.

V. Delivery Schedule

Items shall be delivered no earlier than the estimated delivery start date and no later than the delivery end date listed in Table 2 below.
