This Request for Proposal (RFP) is being issued on behalf of the Faculty of Science, Earth and Atmospheric Sciences Department. The University of Alberta is inviting the submission of Proposals to supply, install, and ongoing support of three (3) high performing mass spectrometers:

1. One (1) Triple Quadrupole Inductively Coupled Plasma Mass Spectrometry (QQQ-ICPMS)
system
2. One (1) Inductively Coupled Plasma Mass Spectrometry (ICP-MS) system
3. One (1) Gas Chromatography-Mass Spectrometry (GC-MS) system

These instruments will serve the Integrated Geobiology Research Facility (IGRF), with the aim of executing complex geochemical and multi-proxy geobiological investigations. This facility requires superior instrument sensitivity, background and advanced mass filtering capabilities to deliver high-resolution geochemical data in challenging samples.

The successful Proponent will be expected to supply, deliver and install the equipment as well as provide software integration, testing, comprehensive on-site training and ongoing post-installation service and support.
