The U.S. Army MICC Fort Riley, Kansas, has issued a Sources Sought Notice (W911RX26Q1CFX) to conduct market research for an upcoming brand-name-only commercial acquisition. The requirement is for exact brand-name clinical nutrition replicas and patient education materials manufactured by Nasco Education (Life/form® Food Replicas) and Health Edco (Faux Foods Kits). These specific items—including realistic food replicas, muscle/fat 3-D comparison models, portion plates, blood diagnostic vials, instructional posters, and educational tearpad sheets—are required to maintain uniformity with current baseline clinical infrastructure. To withstand public health environments and repeated sanitization, all procurement items must be completely medical-grade, non-porous, latex-free, non-toxic, and resilient against chemical disinfecting sprays without peeling, fading, or degrading over time.
This notice is issued solely for information and planning purposes—it does not constitute a Request for Quote (RFQ)/Invitation for Bid (IFB)/Request for Proposal (RFP) or a promise to issue an RFQ, IFB, or RFP in the future. This notice does not commit the U.S. Government to contract for any supply or service. Further, the U.S. Government is not seeking quotes, bids, or proposals at this time and will not accept unsolicited proposals in response to this source(s) sought notice. The U.S. Government will not pay for any information or administrative costs incurred in response to this notice. Not responding to this notice does not preclude participation in any future Request for Quote (RFQ), Invitation for Bid (IFB), or Request for Proposal (RFP), if any are issued.
