Title: STS Floor Repairs

Project Description: This project will replace the commercial side tipping floor, including the horizontal steel plates at chutes 1 and 2, with ultra-high performance cementitious floor topping at the South Transfer Station (STS). The scope of work includes:
1. Traffic control.
2. Selective demolition of existing floor topping.
3. Floor preparation.
4. Temporary barriers during construction.
5. Dust mitigation and sediment capture.
6. Collection and treatment of construction water in accordance with the Industrial Stormwater General Permit (ISGP).
7. Removal of steel sheets from existing chutes.
8. Installation of ultra-high performance cementitious floor topping.
9. Installation, maintenance and removal of temporary wheel wash station.
Engineer's Estimate: $3,520,000 (before tax)
