ASPHALT EMULSION

ATTENTION BIDDERS- ASPHALT EMULSION
Sealed bids will be received at the Office of the Board of County Commissioners,
Muskingum County, at their office in the Courthouse, 401 Main Street, Zanesville, Ohio,
until 8:15 A.M. on Thursday, April 9, 2026, and will be opened immediately thereafter
for the furnishing and delivery of asphalt emulsion for the Muskingum County Engineer's
Office & Highway Department. The bids will be on the basis of unit prices and the
bidder shall understand that no guarantee is given as to the actual quantities of
emulsion, which will be provided to the county at designated locations. In addition, the
successful bidder will extend the unit prices bid to all townships within Muskingum
County. All bidders shall provide a current Ohio Department of Transportation
certification as a bituminous producer of the specified materials for 2026. The
Muskingum County Commissioners reserve the right to reject any and all bids and to
waive irregularities.

Complete specifications, including bid documents may be obtained from the Office of
the County Engineer. Bid specifications and bid documents can be viewed and

contacting the Muskingum County Engineer's Office at (740) 454-0155, Monday through
Friday from 8:00 A.M. until 4:00 P.M., excluding holidays. Bidders are advised to email
their contact information to bids@mceo.org, including name, address, phone, fax, and
email in order to receive any amendments or other information if bid documents are
obtained online.
