Bidders are strongly encouraged to submit their proposals electronically through use of Cit-E-Bid or in person - hand delivery. Mailed Bids (i.e. USPS, FedEx, UPS), telegraphic, or facsimile bids will not be considered.
The City of Laredo has established a local vendor preference ordinance 2018-O-175. All informal and formal Requests for bids for contracts will be evaluated with a 5% preference for local vendors.
Request for bids may be hand delivered at the City Secretary Office, 1110 Houston St., 3
rd
. floor, Laredo, Texas 78040 until 5:00 P.M. on April 28, 2025, and all bids received will be opened and publicly acknowledged at 10:00 A.M. on April 29, 2025.
