Riverfront Fall Protection Improvement Project

The City of Davenport is accepting bids from qualified contractors for the riverfront fall protection improvement project.  This project is to be executed at the Modern Woodmen Park pump station, the Marquette Street gate well, and River Heritage Park gate well.

This Scope of Work encompasses comprehensive infrastructure and safety upgrades for the City of Davenport, providing all necessary labor, equipment, mobilization, and materials required to complete the project. The contractor will remove the existing davit crane, fabricate and attach a new base plate and anchor rods in the field, and construct a concrete pier with reinforcing steel, anchor rods, and a slab on grade. Additionally, the contractor will fabricate and install structural steel brackets for the fall protection system, secure them with anchor rods, and modify the existing bar grating to ensure seamless integration.
