City Hall - Electrical Upgrades
Synopsis:

Submissions marked "COR25-00007 – City Hall - Electrical Upgrades" will be received by the City of Regina (see Part 1.5.1 of the RFP), no later than 2:00:00 p.m. Central Standard Time, on Wednesday October 1, 2025.

The City requires a qualified General Contractor to provide renovation and construction services for the electrical upgrades at the City Hall.

The scope of work includes, but is not limited to:

  • Connecting new 600V main service electrical feeders from a new SaskPower service on the west side of City Hall.
  • Selective demolition on the various floors of the building, including the basement, crawlspace, main and the 16th floor
  • New installations of various piping, ducting, electrical, plumbing among other items on the various floors of the building, including the basement, crawlspace, main and the 16th floor.
  • Work on or installing new pumps, ceiling tiles, concrete and mezzanine lifts, etc.

Unless otherwise indicated, and subject to applicable exceptions and exclusions, this procurement is covered by:

Chapter 5 of the Canadian Free Trade Agreement
Chapter 19 of the Comprehensive Economic and Trade Agreement
Article 14 of the New West Partnership Trade Agreement

There will not be a public opening however the list of firm names who submitted a response will be posted to the Sasktenders website.

Additional Information:

There will be an information session regarding this competition on September 11, 2025 at 1:30 p.m. C.S.T. (SK) for any interested proponents to attend. The session will take place at City Hall, 2476 Victoria Avenue, Regina, Saskatchewan. The walk through is not mandatory to attend but is strongly encouraged.
Interested proponents must send a request to the RFP Contact listed in Section 1.2 to be registered for the in-person session no later than 4:00 PM CST (SK) September 10, 2025. Proponents who did not register will not be allowed access to the facility.
