The Illinois State Police is seeking to conduct a Change Order Notice to add an additional $90,000.00 to the original contract under P-36209 in order accommodate a series of pre-employment medical examinations on the four upcoming cadet classes to determine their fitness for duty. These exams are conducted in compliance with the guidelines set forth by the International Association of Chiefs of Police, as well as the requirements of all federal, state & local laws & regulations. Screening each Cadet prior to employment reduces their likelihood of suffering an injury or medical issue during training. The current amount left in the contract will not cover the agency's need prior to the contract renewal in mid-May.
