Description

NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD SOLE SOURCE

The 5th Contracting Squadron in Minot Air Force Base, ND, intends to award a single source purchase order to provide the OMNIcheck Test Bench and related equipment. The tests conducted with this equipment verify that the SCBAs, PAPRs, Gas Masks, and Half Masks are performing as expected. Due to there being only one commercially available SCBA testing device, only one company is authorized to provide this equipment. Furthermore, the manufacturer maintains strict control over access to the equipment, limiting it to one distributor.

This purchase will be made under Simplified Acquisition Procedures and Other than Full and Open Competition as authorized by FAR 6.302-1(a)(2) & 13.106-1(b). The anticipated award date is after 01 August 2025. Please note that this is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all interested parties who believe they can meet the requirements are invited to submit in writing complete information describing their ability to provide a repair service for the OMNIcheck Test Bench Equipment. The deadline for the submittals is 01 August 2025 at 11 am Central Standard Time.

A determination by the government not to compete this requirement based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government. Information received will be considered solely for determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.

For other information regarding this purchase, contact Colton Snyder, Contract Specialist, at (701) 723-3056 or colton.snyder@us.af.mil.
