Description: SCOPE OF WORK The County of Rockland requires the services of an asbestos abatement contractor fully licensed by the State of New York Department of Health to perform asbestos abatement and disposal at various government locations on an “as needed” basis. All bids shall contain copies of all licenses and certifications required by the State of New York to abate, remove and dispose of asbestos-containing materials, including, but not limited to Asbestos Abatement Contractor, Asbestos Worker, Asbestos Supervisor and Asbestos Transporter. IMPORTANT NOTICE – Bid Distribution : Vendors interested in obtaining the official version of the solicitation may register to download the solicitation at: www.bidnetdirect.com . The County of Rockland officially distributes bidding documents through BidNet Direct. Copies of bidding documents obtained from any other source are not considered official copies. Only those vendors who obtain bidding documents from BidNet Direct are guaranteed to receive all attachments, drawings or addendum information, if such information is issued.
