Bid on Paving, and Concrete

NOTICE OF BID

The City of Pigeon Forge is receiving bids on paving, concrete and striping
for a period of one year beginning July 1, 2026.

Specifications may be obtained from the Public Works Department
between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 4:30 p.m., Monday thru Friday. Bids will be
received until 2:00 p.m., May 13, 2026, at which time they will be opened and
read aloud.

All bids must be in sealed envelope with bidders name and address on the
outside and marked "Bid on Paving, and Concrete."

The City reserves the right to reject any or all bids or to accept the bid
most favorable to the City.

SPECIFICATIONS FOR ASPHALT AND PAVING

Section I. The City of Pigeon Forge is receiving bids on placement of asphalt binder
and asphalt topping on city streets as needed for a period of one (1) year
July 1, 2026- July 31, 2027. Bids will be for furnishing, placing, and
compacting asphalt with thickness to be determined by the city. All
asphalt and placement to meet Tennessee Department of Transportation
specifications. All bids are to be tonnage basis with tickets picked up by
city representative. All grade work and compaction necessary before
placement of asphalt will be paid on hourly basis or may be done by city
employees and equipment.

Section II. Bids are also requested to be picked up at supplier's plant by city trucks.
Bids to be tonnage basis. State distance of plant from city limits of Pigeon
Forge.

Section III. Bid price will be good for a 1 year period with option of extending bid
price for a 1 year period if City and winning bidder are in agreement.
