Project Description: State of Utah Division of Purchasing is the Issuing and Conducting Procurement Unit
The State of Utah is issuing this RFP with the goal of adding qualified contractors to the Irrigation and Sprinkler Systems Portfolio. The current number of contractors providing Irrigation and Sprinkler System services to eligible users within the State of Utah's portfolio is insufficient to meet the existing demand. Contractors with a current contract in the Irrigation and Sprinkler System Portfolio need not apply.
This RFP may result in multiple awards. The methodology that will be used to determine the number of awards is:
1. Any vendor that achieves a combined total score of at least 60% of all available points will be eligible for a statewide cooperative contract.
2. There are 700 technical points and 300 cost points available for evaluation for each category awarded.
3. vendors must attain a minimum of 60% in technical criteria points, which is equivalent to 420 points, to advance to the Cost Evaluation stage.
4. In the Cost Evaluation stage, the points assigned to each vendor's cost proposal will be determined based on the lowest market basket price.
5. The vendor with the lowest market basket price will receive 100% of the price points.
6. All other vendors will receive a portion of the total cost points, calculated based on the percentage by which their proposed market basket price is higher than the lowest proposed market basket price.
7. The formula for computing the points is: Cost Points x (Lowest Market Basket/Proposed Market Basket).
Length of Contract: Contract will have an end date of 3/24/2030.
Vendor must guarantee its pricing for 1 year.
Administrative Fee: 0.4%.
