Leica DM2700 P for TL Specifically configured for Asbestos Analysis



Salient Characteristics Leica DM2700 Brand Name or Equal:




  1. Must be a polarized light microscope (PLM) designed specifically for transmitted light asbestos analysis.

  2. Must have a trinocular optical head compatible with digital imaging systems.

  3. Must have strain‑free, infinity‑corrected optics with centerable objectives suitable for PLM (e.g., 4x–40x).

  4. Must include polarizer and analyzer with full 360‑degree rotation.

  5. Must have a compensator slot compatible with first‑order red (λ) plates or equivalent retardation plates.

  6. Must include a high‑quality, centerable substage condenser capable of Köhler illumination.

  7. Must have a stable, adjustable‑intensity transmitted light LED or halogen illumination source.

  8. Must include a mechanical stage capable of smooth X–Y travel and secure slide retention.

  9. Must have precise coarse and fine focus controls suitable for fiber morphology evaluation.

  10. Must allow for routine PLM calibration and alignment with low‑internal‑strain optical components.
