Description: The Town of Vernon desires to serve approximately 173 properties within the Vernon Center area with public potable water to replace their reliance on private water supply wells, which currently provide low quality water and low production volume. This proposed service extension will occur through the formation of the Vernon Center Water District and connection to the Village of Vernon’s public water distribution system. The project includes the construction of a booster pumping station, an elevated water storage tank, and approximately 6.2 miles of HDPE water main, valves, fire hydrants, air releases and appurtenances. Separate Bids will be received for the following Contracts:
