APEX Accelerators are an official government contracting resource for small businesses. Find your local APEX Accelerator (opens in new window) for free government expertise related to contract opportunities.
APEX Accelerators are funded in part through a cooperative agreement with the Department of Defense.
The APEX Accelerators program was formerly known as the Procurement Technical Assistance Program (opens in new window) (PTAP).
All equipment used in this project is government furnished except the interconnecting wiring.
The objective of this requirement is to upgrade the Command Post AtHOC Internet Protocol (IP) Integration Module (IIM) activation point for the Giant Voice Mass Notification System from a Federal Signal SS2000 siren encoder to a radio directly connected to a computer with a Minimum Shift Keying (MSK) modem. This upgrade supports the Giant Voice System and transitions the connection from a Federal Signal Type I integration to a Federal Signal Type II integration. The Type II integration allows data to flow from AtHoc to the Commander Software on the computer and out to sirens or Giant Voice System either via IP or by radio a modem. This is a blackberry certified solution.
