Tornado Siren Replacement Project
ADEM State Mitigation Grant
Greene County has received a grant from the Arkansas Department of Emergency Management through the State Mitigation Grant Program for improvements to the outdoor warning siren systems throughout Greene County through refurbishment, equipment upgrades, and infrastructure replacement.
Greene County will receive sealed bids for the tornado siren replacement project to refurbish and install surplus sirens to replace outdated or non-functional units throughout the county. Bids may be delivered or mailed to the Paragould Emergency Services office until Tuesday, April 7th, at 10:00 a.m. Bids received after this time will not be accepted. Bids will be opened and publicly read aloud on Tuesday, April 7th, at 10:00 a.m. at the Paragould Emergency Services office located at 24 Southpointe Drive, Paragould, AR, 72450. All interested parties are invited to attend. Greene County encourages all small, minority and women owned business enterprises to submit bids.

Each bid must be submitted on the prescribed bid form and accompanied by a certified check or bid bond, payable to Greene County, Arkansas, in an amount not less than 5% of the bid. A performance and payment bond will not be required. The bid proposal and work of the proposed contract shall be in accordance with the appliable federal, state, city, and local ordinances and regulations.
Any bid may be rejected which contains material omissions or irregularities. Also, a bid may be rejected if it, in any manner, shall fail to conform to the conditions of the Bidding Requirements and Contract Documents.
The Owner reserves the right to waive irregularities, reject bids, and choose the most qualified bidder for the project.
