Description
The City of Decatur will receive bids for the Decatur Square Transformation until 2:00 p.m. on Thursday,
February 27, 2025, in the City Manager¿s Office at Decatur City Hall, 2nd Floor, 509 North McDonough Street,
Decatur, Georgia 30030, at which time and place all bids will be publicly opened and read aloud. The work
includes selective demolition, removal of existing bandshell, installation of new bandshell with green room, new
restrooms, green infrastructure for stormwater treatment, hardscape improvements, and a new play area. The new
structures will require electrical, water, wastewater, and stormwater utility connections. The project also includes
soil erosion and sedimentation control, and traffic control as required for project construction.
