Description: Request one, U.S. flag vessel, capable of carrying a minimum of six 20-foot ISO containers, four of which are comprised of Class 7 and Class 8 hazardous material, while satisfying cargo compatibility and segregation requirements. Barges are not acceptable for this movement due to the nature of the cargo. The minimum laden speed shall be 15 knots.

Place of Contract Performance: The place/range of delivery is Berth 13, Yokosuka, Japan and place/range of redelivery is Puget Sound Naval Shipyard, Bremerton, Washington (USA). The layday commences 09 April 2025 and cancels 11 April 2025. The charter period will be 23 days.

Set-aside Status: N/A. The decision to release this solicitation as “Unrestricted” is based on responses received from a recent, sources sought notice for this service. All responsible sources may submit a bid, proposal, or quotation, which shall be considered by the agency.
