Joint Product Lead, Radiological Nuclear Defense (JPdL RND) under Joint Program Executive Office for Chemical, Biological, Radiological and Nuclear Defense (JPEO-CBRND) is conducting a market survey to identify potential industry sources capable of providing Vehicle Integrated Platform Enhanced RADIAC (VIPER) development, testing and platform integration support.
This is a standalone capability designed to integrate into various Army ground-based and aviation platforms including Stryker Family of Vehicles (FoV); Nuclear, Biological, Chemical Reconnaissance Vehicle (NBCRV) Sensor Suite; Abrams Tank; Bradley Fighting Vehicle; Army Armored Multi-Purpose Vehicle; Joint Light Tactical Vehicle; M10 Booker Light Tank, Chinook, Black Hawk, and Apache. VIPER Provides network capable, integrated gamma dose rate, total dose and prompt dose detection and monitoring both inside and outside of platforms.
