Original Notice (June 9, 2025):
The U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) is issuing this notice to seek sources for subscription to private market data. The SEC is seeking information on subscription products that offer both data subscription and a web-based research platform. The SEC is seeking information from sources that currently have a Commercial Off The Shelf (COTS) subscription that meets all requirements in Attachment 1 – SEC Draft Requirements List. The SEC is not seeking subscription products that require development.
Each respondent to this Sources Sought notice shall provide the following:
1. Summary/cover letter (limited to 3 pages) with following company information:
2. A description of your company’s subscription product to demonstrate it meets the SEC’s requirements. Merely restating the requirements is not sufficient.
3. A sample report from the subscription product and a sample of the accompanying data.
4. Price estimate: the SEC requests a price estimate with separately priced lines items:
- Data subscription (enterprise)
- Web platform with price Tiers for 10 and up to 20 users.
The SEC requests pricing for a Base Year and a minimum of 2 Option Years. Note: In a formal procurement the SEC may reserve the right to award for one or both of these items; therefore, it is important that the pricing for the data subscription and web-platform be separate/distinct.
Question and Response Deadline:
All questions regarding this notice must be submitted to garrettj@sec.gov by no later than 3:00 PM EDT on June 18, 2025. All responses to this notice must be submitted to garrettj@sec.gov by no later than 3:00 PM EDT on June 30, 2025. All responses must include: 1. Summary/cover letter 2. A description your company’s subscription product to meet the SEC’s requirements, 3. Sample report and accompanying data, and 4. Price estimate.
Note: The SEC may contact respondents for further information including technical demonstrations as part of market research process.
