2.0 BACKGROUND

The project “Detection of biosensors in living animals” is aiming at building a Portable Multiphoton

Microscope for detection of biosensors associated with parameters of interest in living animals. The

essential equipment to build such a Microscope are manufactured by Becker and Hickl (B&H), GmbH in

Germany and distributed by Boston Electronics, a sole Sale Representative of B&H in US.

4.0 PRODUCT FEATURES/SALIENT CHARACTERISTICS

To build a Portable Multiphoton Microscope for detection of biosensors associated with parameters of

interest in living animals. The essential equipment to build a Portable Multiphoton Microscope for

detection of biosensors associated with parameters of interest in living animals are manufactured by

Becker and Hickl (B&H), GmbH in Germany and distributed by Boston Electronics, a sole Sale

Representative of B&H in US.

The following product features/characteristics are required for this requirement:

• 01 Time-Correlated Single Photon Counting (TCSPC) module SPC-130NIXX,

• 01 Hybrid photon detector HPM-100-40 and its control module DCC-100,

• 01 Picosecond Laser BDS-SM-980-FBE bundled with single-mode fiber optic,

• 01 Beamsplitter unit and its accessories,

• 01 GVD-120PCIE module for laser scanning.
