DOWNTOWN ADA COMPLAINCE
Bid # 260016
The Village of Arlington Heights will accept sealed bids electronically for the Downtown ADA Compliance Bid until 10:00 AM local time on September 30, 2026, at which time they will be publicly opened and read.
A Non-Mandatory Pre-Bid Conference will be held on September 23, 2026 at 10:00 AM in the Engineering Conference Room, Village of Arlington Heights, 33 S. Arlington Heights Road, Arlington Heights, IL 60005.
Specifications for Road and Bridge Construction, adopted January 1, 2022, and the IDOT Supplemental Specifications and Recurring Special Provisions, adopted January 1, 2026.
All proposals or bids offered must be accompanied by a bid security in the amount of 10% of the total bid in the form of a certified check, bid bond or cashier’s check made payable to the Village of Arlington Heights. No bids shall be considered unless accompanied by such security.
Bidders shall comply with the Prevailing Wage Rate Act (820 ILCS 130). Bidders will also be required to comply with the applicable equal employment opportunity provisions.
The Village of Arlington Heights reserves the right to reject any or all proposals, to waive informalities in bidding and to accept the proposal deemed by the Board of Trustees to be the most favorable to the interests of the Village.
As of August 28, 2026, our ERP System with Tyler has transitioned from Vendor Self Service (VSS) to Vendor Access (VA) for access to all electronic bids.
