American Indian Science & Engineering Society (AISES) – Annual Organizational Membership

The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) intends to award a sole source Firm Fixed Price purchase order to American Indian Science & Engineering Society (AISES) for an annual AISES membership & conference.

The AISES National Conference is an event focusing on Indigenous STEM professionals and students’ s educational, professional and workforce development. AISES is a national nonprofit organization, and its mission is to increase the representation of indigenous peoples of North America and the Pacific Islands in science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) studies and careers.

The USACE renews professional memberships every year with professional and governmental organizations. The USACE has maintained these long-term relationships and are active participants in these organizations.

This is a special notice prepared in accordance with the format in the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 5.2 Synopses of Proposed Contract Action. A solicitation will not be posted. However, any firm that believes it can meet this requirement may give written notification to the Contracting Officer within fifteen (15) days of publication of this announcement. Supporting evidence must be in sufficient detail to demonstrate the ability to comply with the requirement.

Responses received will be evaluated. However, a determination by the Government to compete the proposed procurement based on the responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. If no responses are received, the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers will proceed with awarding a Firm Fixed contract to American Indian Science & Engineering Society.
