Description:

The Town of Bedford is seeking quotes for removal of approximately 2000 cubic yards of 3” minus fill/gravel from the Seasonal Storage Facility located at 108 Carlisle Road.  The fill/gravel to be removed consists of materials excavated from town jobs and projects screened to 3” minus.  Exact contents are unknown, no known hazardous materials, and material has not been tested. This site is accessible by 10-wheelers or trailer dumps and the Bedford DPW will provide a front-end loader with operator to load the contractor’s trucks. The material may be viewed weekdays, 7:30am to 1:30pm by appointment only.

The successful contractor is required to have properly licensed drivers and valid insurance on all vehicles.  The trucks shall have up to date inspection stickers and be in good working condition.  Material must be picked up over a mutually agreed upon period.

This contract will be awarded based on the either the highest price paid or the lowest price to remove the specified material.  Please state if you are willing to pay for material or charge for removal and state number of cubic yards desired.  Must be a minimum of 500 cy.
