The Town of North Reading is seeking to engage the services of a professional licensed design/engineering firm to provide construction phase services and operational start-up services for the Downtown Low Pressure and Gravity Sewer Construction Project which is being partially funded through a Federal EPA Community Program Grant (STAG). The design plan calls for the construction of a sewer system that would connect the Police and Fire Department facilities, the Flint Memorial Library, the Batchelder School, Damon Tavern, Putnam House and Building on the Common to the Wastewater Treatment Facility (WWTF) at the North Reading High School, using a combination of gravity sewer lines and low-pressure sewer lines.
