Summary:The purpose of this Request for Proposal (RFP) by the City of Harrisonburg, Virginia (City) is to solicit sealed proposals from interested Direct Carrier Representatives (Offeror) to provide Group Voluntary Dental and Group Voluntary Vision Benefits with a July 1, 2025 effective date. Interested Offerors are invited to provide a proposal response to one (1) or both of the requested services. The City is not interested in receiving proposal responses from brokers at this time.
Included is a request for plan deviations if such deviations will assist the City in achieving the overall objective of providing the most comprehensive benefits at reasonable cost for eligible employees of the City of Harrisonburg.
It is the City’s intent to award the contract(s) by February 28, 2025. The City reserves the right to award a contract(s) to as many Offeror(s) as deemed necessary to fulfill the anticipated requirements of the City of Harrisonburg. - Round Information:Addendum #1 (01-24-25)
