On-Call Aviation Planning Services

Pierce County will select qualified consultant (s) who are qualified in providing On-Call Aviation Planning Services. Selection shall be based on qualifications where price is not a factor in compliance with the requirements of 49 USC § 47107(a) (17) and 2 CFR §200.320, as amended. Qualifications based procedures require that a contract for Architectural/Engineering (A/E) Services be awarded pursuant to a fair and open selection process based on the qualifications of the firms.

Funding for the work may be from County, State, or Federal sources or a combination of such sources. All work in which Federal funds are involved must comply with current Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) (See Attachment B), Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) and/or Washington State Department of Transportation (WSDOT) requirements

If the County is undertaking a project in which Federal funds are involved, the County may require the Consultant to sign applicable forms to be incorporated into an amendment or work assignment to the SA.
