The National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) is conducting market research to identify qualified vendors capable of providing a large-format printer suitable for printing specialized radioactive safety and specimen labeling materials. The system must be compatible with VersaWorks software and support high-precision color management, using specific vinyl media that withstands a range of storage conditions, including cryogenic temperatures (-273°C). Support requirements include installation and user training at NIST, one-year warranty, and preventative maintenance twice per year. Please see the attached documents for further details.
