This requirement is a modification to an existing Department of Homeland Security Science and Technology Directorate (DHS S&T) task order for the Technology Centers Division (TCD), Advanced Computing Branch (ACB). Support staff are required to assist the Government in subject matter expert advisement within TCD ACB. Recipients of such advisement may include customers both internal to S&T as well as operational Components within DHS, other federal agencies who are partners of DHS, and the Homeland Security Enterprise. Successful support staff help ensure that S&T conducts cross-cutting core research, develops its programs and their attendant projects; maintains awareness of technologies on or over the horizon; and understands the many parties, platforms, and processes inherent in a complex technology development system. S&T TCD ACB requires continuity of subject matter expertise support services to support on going programs at S&T. S&T is undergoing significant reorganization, impacting its planning for program support service needs. This reorganization is anticipated to be completed by early FY2026 after which time program support needs can be planned for in order to align with the new organizational structure.
This modification procures additional work within scope and increases the ceiling of task order 70RSAT23FR0000015 without considering other awardees pursuant to FAR 16.505(b)(2)(ii)(B).
