The Project consists of: Repointing brick masonry, replacement of cracked brick, replacement of deteriorated steel lintels, replacement of perimeter sealant joints at windows and doors, and replacement of exterior trim at (4) windows. The work is estimated to cost $ 250,000. General bidders must be certified by the Division of Capital Asset Management and Maintenance (DCAMM) in the category of MASONRY. Filed sub-bidders must be DCAMM certified for the trades listed below and bidders must include a current DCAMM Sub-Bidder Certificate of Eligibility and a signed DCAMM Sub-Bidder's Update Statement.
SUBTRADES: 07 92 00 Sealant & Caulking, DCAMM Filed Sub-Bid Category of SEALANTS. General bidders must agree to contract with minority and women business enterprises as certified by the Supplier Diversity Office (SDO), formerly known as SOMWBA. The combined participation benchmark reserved for such enterprises shall not be less than 13% of the final contract price including accepted alternates. Request for waivers must be sent to EOHLC (Chad.Howard@mass.gov). 5 calendar days prior to the General Bid date. NO WAIVERS WILL BE GRANTED AFTER THE GENERAL BIDS ARE OPENED.
