Solicitation - Overhead Shop Doors for Wheeler and Wilson Lock

AMENDMENT 0001: The purspose of this Amendment is to:

1) PROVIDE UPDATED QUOTE INSTRUCTIONS WITH SITE VISIT INFORMATION.

2) UPDATE CLIN DESCRIPTION FOR CLIN 0001AND UPDATE QUANTITIES FOR CLINS 0005 AND 0007.

3) EXTEND THE DEADLINE FOR RECEIPT OF QUOTES FROM 10 SEPTEMBER 2025 AT 1:00PM CENTRAL TIME TO 15 SEPTEMBER 2025 AT 1:00PM CENTRAL TIME.

4) UPDATE FAR PROVISION, 52.252-3, ALTERATIONS IN SOLICITATION.

The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) Nashville District is issuing a Request for Quote (RFQ) for a firm fixed-price (FFP) supply contract for the supply and delivery of construction materials for the Wilson Lock and Wheeler Lock. The contractor shall be responsible for the furnishment of materials, labor, supervision, and quality control necessary to supply and deliver materials in accordance with the scope of work. The Scope of Work and Price schedule are attached to the solicitation and intended to be a part of this solicitation. All items must be delivered to Wheeler Lock & Dam and Wilson Lock & Dam. The completion date for this contract is 60 calendar days from the contract award. If option(s) are exercised each option will extend the period of performance an additional 60 calendar days for a total of 180 calendar days if all options are exercised.

QUOTES DUE DATE: Quotes shall be submitted electronically via email to Contract Specialist Jamie Lynn Barnes at Jamie.L.Barnes@usace.army.mil not later than 10 September 2025 at 1:00PM Central Time.

SYSTEM FOR AWARD MANAGEMENT (SAM): Offerors must be successfully registered in the SAM, www.sam.gov, in order to receive a Government contract award. Offerors must have their representations and certifications available on-line in SAM or provide them with their quote in order to receive a Government contract award.I MPORTANT NOTICE: Effective March 22, 2018, new entities that are registering in SAM must submit an original, signed notarized letter identifying the authorized entity's Administrator that is authorized to register the entity in the SAM database, or to make changes to its registration.

Effective April 27, 2018, entities that are updating or renewing their existing SAM registrations must submit an original, signed notarized letter identifying the authorized entity's Administrator that is authorized to register the entity in the SAM database, or to make changes to its registration, before the registration is activated.The new registration may now take several days to become active depending on (1) the information provided passing existing validations and (2) the entity's successful delivery of the required notarized letter.

Contractors who are new to the SAM registration process are highly encouraged to begin registering as soon as possible to avoid any possible delays in future contract awards.
