This notice does not constitute a request for proposal, request for quote, or invitation for bid. The intent of this notice is to notify potential offerors that the 377th Mission Support Group Contracting Division (377 MSG/PK) intends to issue solicitation FA9401-25-B-0009. This announcement serves as the advance notice for this requirement. Responses to this synopsis are not required.
Description of Requirement: The primary purpose and objective of this project is to provide and install a backup generator for the communications room in Building 1043. This is a Build (B) Statement of Work (SOW). Specialty disciplines are required to successfully complete this project. It is the Contractor’s responsibility to provide the necessary staff and skills to successfully complete this project as it is further described in the SOW.
This project shall include, but is not limited to, the following: conducting field verifications, providing all labor, tools, equipment, permits, and licenses required to construct the project in strict accordance with the requirements outlined in this SOW.
The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this acquisition is 238210 – Electrical Contractors and Other Wiring Installation Contractors. The size standard for this NAICS code is $19 million.
377 MSG/PK anticipates a firm-fixed price contract. The acquisition will follow procedures set forth in FAR Part 14 “Sealed Bidding”. Bidders must ensure compliance with all solicitation requirements, as non-compliance may lead to disqualification. As outlined by FAR 36.204, the anticipated magnitude for this effort is $250,000 - $500,000.
The solicitation, as well as all notices and amendments, will be posted to the Government Point of Entry located at https://sam.gov on or around 25 August 2025. The closing date, time for submission of offers, as well as the date and time for a site visit will be contained in the solicitation package. Potential offerors are responsible for monitoring this procurement for the release of the solicitation package and any other pertinent information and for downloading their own copy of the solicitation package. All notifications and amendments will be disseminated in the same manner as the solicitation.
All contractors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) or their proposal will not be considered. Contractors can obtain further information on the System for Award Management (SAM) at web site https://www.sam.gov.
