Description: SUNY Empire State University is looking to enter into a contract with a vendor for Student Default Prevention Services. The awarded contractor will provide services to help Empire State University recoup and make arrangements with students who have defaulted or are in danger of defaulting on their student loans. Vendors must be able to provide comprehensive data management, outreach, financial literacy and default prevention services for student loan borrowers at SUNY Empire State University. These services are part of an overall institution strategy to lower cohort student default rates and prepare students for financial success in the future. The specifications for this solicitation are contained in a document attached to this advertisement. SUNY intends to make an award under our discretionary authority, pursuant to NYS Education Law ยง355(5)(a), which is up to $125,000, for the above noted commodity/product or service. A sealed bid will not be held.
